Modern textiles and contemporary design do not lend themselves to being hired as they are unsuitable for repeated alteration and cleaning. Our bridal gown range offers styles in all budgets and we can offer gowns that can become your keepsake of the most important day of your life, some at prices comparable to hire. Q. "Do I need an appointment?"
A. We prefer appointments to ensure minimal waiting time and the personal assistance from our trained consultants. Appointments are obligation free and are normally for 1 hour.
Q. "How long before my wedding should I purchase a gown?"
A. It is wise to allow a little extra time than be rushed. Often intricate gowns require up to 4 months for delivery into store. An additional 8 weeks should be considered to allow for adjustments and fittings to be concluded two weeks prior to the wedding date. Ideally, it is best to decide on your gown 6 - 8 months prior to the wedding.
Q. "I am losing some weight for the big day. What if I purchase a gown and then my weight reduces?"
A. Our staff will guide you with these issues and if your expected weight loss is significant we can place orders and then confirm sizing at a later time. Each case is individual based on the degree of weight loss and lead time available to the wedding date. Minor variations in sizing can be coped with by dressmakers at final fittings and adjustments.
